The second episode for 2021 features SCDNR Small Game Project Coordinator Michael Hook. In a great interview, Hook describes the wide variety and status of each small game animal in South Carolina, enough to convince you not to put away your guns just yet. From the pages of Carolina Sportsman, 14 anglers from the Carolinas will be competing in the 2021 Bassmaster Elite Series and PG and Boatgirl give a run down on how they feel each one will do this year.

In the first episode of Season 2, PG and Boatgirl talk to Blake Hodge of Team Wrecking Crew about duck hunting from coast to coast, plus get a report on the remainder of this duck season in the local area. We wrap up deer season and look forward to fishing season with a couple of tales about deer hunting and crappie fishing with a Boykin Spaniel. The podcast wraps with news about a major land acquisition to add to the Stumphouse Mountain Heritage Preserve.

The last podcast of 2020 pretty well sums up the year, not really sure where we're going with all this. We catch up with The Hammer on the eve of the last day of deer season, talk a little about Boatgirl's best deer of the year, who's now walking with a limp and make some observations about the remainder of this year's duck season. Boatgirl's deer season had a little hiccup this week. She tells the story and PG and Boatgirl ask the question "How big can Bass Pro Shops get?"

PG and Boatgirl Outdoors is back this week after an unexpected delay. This week's guest, Mike Eady from Yak Outdoor Guides in Myrtle Beach, SC gives a peek into hunting and fishing opportunities from a kayak available along the Grand Strand year round. Now he's "Uncle Mike", having adopted the brother of PG and Boatgirl's new Boykin Spaniel, Prissy. The podcast wraps with some news bits from SCDNR that will promote hunting in the Palmetto State.

For the past 3 years, PG and Boatgirl have supported the annual Bass Boat Raffle held by Chris Wells of Wellspoken Ministries. On Saturday, December 5, Chris will be giving away this year's boat - a 2020 Nitro Z18 and Mercury 175 HP outboard. Chris is this weeks guest to promote the raffle. The official show mascot, Prissy the Boykin Spaniel, is introduced in Episode 21 and the podcast wraps with PG's tales of how he tagged out for deer season this year.

Marty Walker and his daughter Victoria, from Palmetto Boat Center drop in for Episode 20, The Thanksgiving Podcast, to talk about the holiday season and the upcoming boating season at Palmetto Boat Center. An expanded show room, Toys-For Tots campaign, tournament trail schedules for high-school, college, and adult bass anglers and Tracker Off Road vehicles are all part of the conversation. Later, the pair share some love, and hate, for the spotted bass that has made it's way into most Upstate South Carolina lakes.

In Episode 19, PG and Boatgirl talk with MLF pro bass angler Andy Montgomery about a very harrowing experience. Speaking of which, PG recalls the events of Friday the 13th when Bo Derek, a trophy buck he's been after for two years, finally met his match. Or did he? 

For Episode 18, PG and Boatgirl welcome our buddy Torch Tindle, avid duck hunter and crappie fishing guide from Cleveland, Mississippi. His Mama didn't name him Torch but how he got his nickname is a great story. Torch is a wealth of information about hunting the Mississippi River as well as a veteran crappie angler. Later Boatgirl answers the question about what kind of maintenance needs to be done to outboards motors through the winter.

PG and Boatgirl's longtime friend Brian Cope, Digital Editor for CarolinaSportsman.com, is this week's guest on the podcast. Brian gives some great insight on behind-the-scenes at Carolina Sportsman magazine and website. Later, trying to determine the exact timing of the whitetail deer rut is the focus so listeners will know the best times to be in the woods after that trophy buck.
