Nick Taylor attempts to defend his title at the AT&T Pro-Am at Pebble Beach. A lot of Canadian mini-tour players in action on the Outlaw Tour, the Swingthought Tour, the Minor League Golf Tour and the Cactus Tour. There should be a lot more action in the coming weeks as the Korn Ferry season starts, the LPGA gets back in action and more mini-tour schedules fill up. We're joined by Kimberley, BC native, Jared du Toit and we chat about growing up as a junior golfer in Kimberley, his time at Arizona State, and his career so far as professional golfer including some pretty impressive highlights like a 59 last year in an Outlaw Tour event.
Golf Canada announces their 2021 Young Pro Squad as well as a new award for "Emerging Professionals". I add the Vancouver Golf Tour to my list of tours to report on, and there are a handful of results by Canadians on the PGA TOUR and the mini-tours. I chat with Michael Gligic about his path away from hockey and into golf as a kid, about his long-term relationship with Sean Foley, and about the nerves he felt the first time he teed it up at the RBC Canadian Open. Check out Mike's social media channels below, and even though we didn't get around to talking about it, look for what he's doing with the Scholarship in partnership with Levelwear and Whistle Bear Golf Club!

Weekly recap of Canadian results includes another win, this time by Adam Svenson and a spattering of other Canadians making a little bit of money. I share a story about tying Jared do Toit in a men's night at my home course. We are joined on the show by professional golfer and professional YouTuber, Andrew Jensen. Our conversation covers a wide array of topics including how he started making videos, his path to professional golf, his mental health advocacy, and how he convinced his wife to watch Schitt's Creek. Make sure to subscribe to "Andrew Jensen" on YouTube and check him out on Twitter (@andrewjensen) and Instagram (@andrewsjensen). **This episode contains a few words for a mature audience**
Well we are officially a podcast with guests. We're joined by Scott Pritchard, Executive Director of the Mackenzie TOUR, to discuss his path to one of the highest positions in professional golf in Canada. We also recap a fairly busy week of play for Canadians on Tours around the world including the first win of the year by Will Bateman.
I forgot to thank Dave again! I'll figure that out, but anyways...thanks Dave!

Still working out the bugs before trying to promote the show. If you happen to listen to this episode you'll notice I forgot to thank Dave, and I said there were 5 Canadians in the field at the Sony when there were really 6! We're still going to forge ahead, we have a potential first guest lined up for next week and more and more Tours starting up their seasons. If you came back to listen to how this podcast got started, I hope the quality of what I am doing has greatly improved!
