Cory Haley is the Assistant Principal at Lake Arbor Elementary School. Prior to this role, he served as a Mathematics Literacy Coach, General and Special Education Teacher within Prince George County Public Schools.

He is an experienced educator with fifteen years of experiences at the elementary, middle, and high school levels as well as the university level.

Dr. Haley is a leader among educators and a prominent force in sharing knowledge and research-based strategies. He is energetic, entertaining, passionate, and inspiring. He specializes in building teachers’ capacities, closing the achievement gap, effective classroom management practices, and effective mathematics instruction in grades K-12.

With more than a decade of experience as an educator and teacher leader, Desiree is overjoyed to serve as Assistant Principal of Seat Pleasant Elementary. A proud product of Prince George’s County Public Schools, Mrs. Early attended Glenarden Woods Elementary, Walker Mill Middle, and Laurel High School. She completed her undergraduate and graduate studies, in Music Education, at Hampton University. She received her Administrator certification and is currently pursuing a second Master’s degree in Educational Leadership, both from Towson University.

Mrs. Early began her career as a Music teacher and developed as an instructional leader serving in the roles of Team Leader, School Test Coordinator, Instructional Lead Teacher, and Data Coach. Mrs. Early is passionate about developing teachers’ capacity while impacting student performance. She believes in doing whatever it takes to make sure each student receives the best quality education.

Dr. Shelita Campbell is a native Washingtonian, who received her grade school education from both District of Columbia Public Schools and Prince George’s County Public Schools. She is a proud graduate of Crossland High School class of 1998! Thereafter, she immediately obtained her undergraduate Visual and Performing Arts/Dance degree from University of Maryland Baltimore County (UMBC). Shortly after obtaining her undergraduate degree, she found herself returning to her first love, working with children, through substitute teaching. Dr. Campbell quickly obtained her teaching certificate in order to continue her work in the Prince George’s County Public School system. After 10 years in the classroom, she was promoted to a district-wide Mentor Teacher with the Office of Talent Development. As a Mentor Teacher, she supported teachers and school leaders through systemic professional development. She was charged with coordinating the annual four-day PGCPS New Teacher Boot Camp.
