The Pharmacy Guild of Australia is calling on the next government to make cost-of-living relief and affordable healthcare a top priority in the upcoming election.
The Guild is calling for bipartisan support to make medicines more affordable by lowering the Pharmaceutical Benefits Scheme (PBS) co-payment claiming the reform would benefit more than 12 million Australians.
Queensland President of the Pharmacy Guild of Australia Chris Owen told Sofie Formica on 4BC Afternoons, "We know that research has shown that one in five people, are either delaying, deferring, or deleting medication from their regimen... due to cost."
