Host Derek Desrosiers explores the relationship between the College of Pharmacists of BC and the BC Pharmacy Association. We explore the roles of the two organizations and how they see interacting with and supporting each other to move the practice of pharmacy forward.

In this episode, we explore the practical and societal issues associated with BC's new safe supply guidelines issued by the BC Centre on Substance Use (BCCSU). We interview Mona Kwong, a pharmacist from the BCCSU and Guy Felicella, a former drug addict and now a peer counsellor at BCCSU. We focus on whether the guidelines are working as expected and if they are not, why not? We also look at the pharmacist perspective and what role pharmacists can play in managing the opioid pandemic.
