In this episode, we explore the practical and societal issues associated with BC's new safe supply guidelines issued by the BC Centre on Substance Use (BCCSU). We interview Mona Kwong, a pharmacist from the BCCSU and Guy Felicella, a former drug addict and now a peer counsellor at BCCSU. We focus on whether the guidelines are working as expected and if they are not, why not? We also look at the pharmacist perspective and what role pharmacists can play in managing the opioid pandemic.
