  • Thought Literacy: The Art of Choosing What You Think | Lyndsey Getty

What if the thoughts you've been thinking your entire life aren't necessarily the thoughts you have to keep thinking?

On this episode of the Phase 4 Podcast, author, TEDx speaker, and Thought Literacy founder Lyndsey Getty explores our relationship with our thoughts and the power of becoming more intentional about what we choose to believe.

Drawing from her books, TEDx talk, and work in thought literacy, Lyndsey shares how we can develop the skill of interrupting automatic thought patterns, questioning long-held beliefs, and choosing thoughts that serve us rather than limit us.

Consider the difference between "I can't" and "I can."

Two simple statements that can influence how we see ourselves, the choices we make, and the possibilities we're willing to explore.

Thought literacy isn't about controlling every thought that enters our minds. It's about developing the awareness to question those thoughts and the ability to decide which ones deserve our attention.

What we focus on expands. And learning to choose where we place that focus might be one of the most valuable skills we can develop.

  • Hypnosis Isn't What You Think. Neither Is Pain. Beyond the Pain Cycle with Kira Michelle

Some conversations I can listen to with professional curiosity. This wasn’t one of them.

Kira Michelle’s work at Mindscapes Hypnotherapy sits inside a subject I have lived with for years: chronic pain, the mind-body connection, and the question of what healing can actually look like.

Kira joined me to share the journey that brought her to hypnotherapy and to separate the practice from the strange collection of assumptions people often bring to it. We talked about what hypnotherapy is, what it isn’t, and the science that helps explain why the mind deserves a seat at the table when we talk about the body.

For me, that conversation is deeply personal.

I know what it is to have pain become the architecture of a life. To have decisions, possibilities and even identity begin forming around what your body will allow. I also know that our relationship with pain can change, and that a life can become much larger than the one we once believed was available to us.

That is part of why Kira’s upcoming Beyond the Pain Cycle Summit matters to me.

Kira is bringing together people to have a bigger conversation about chronic pain, healing and what may be possible beyond the cycle.

I’ll be joining her as one of the summit speakers, sharing my own experience of living through chronic pain and eventually building a life that once would have seemed impossible to me.

Kira and I arrive at this work from different places.

That’s what made the conversation worth having.

  • You Are Allowed to Outgrow the Person Who Survived with Tiyon L. Simpson on Identity, Belief & Reinvention on The Phase 4 Podcast

I love conversations about what makes us who we are—and more importantly, what allows us to become someone different.

That’s where my conversation with Tiyon L. Simpson went.

Tiyon has experienced homelessness, found his way into the world of private banking and wealth management in London, left that world behind, moved countries and built a new life as an entrepreneur.

But this conversation isn’t really about what he’s accomplished. It’s about what had to change inside him along the way.

We talk about identity, the stories we carry about ourselves, mindset, the Law of Attraction, and how our beliefs shape what we think is possible.

We also get into why struggle can become part of our identity, and the realization that nobody is coming to save us.

At some point, we have to decide who we’re going to be next.

For the 250th episode of the Phase 4 Podcast, the host steps into the guest seat.

In this short yet powerful 12-minute reflection, we pause the interviews and conversations to look inward — at the journey that built Phase 4 from an idea into a living, breathing platform for body, mind, spirit, growth, healing peak performance, and possibility.

    This episode explores:

    • What Phase 4 really means beyond the name

    • The moments of doubt, breakdown, resilience, and breakthrough along the way

    • How body, mind, and spirit became the foundation — not the side notes

    • What it takes to keep showing up when the vision feels bigger than you

    • And why this podcast was never about content… it was about becoming

No hype. No highlight reel. Just real reflection, earned wisdom, and an honest look at what it means to stay in the work long enough for transformation to take root.

Whether you’ve been here since episode one or you’re just discovering Phase 4, this milestone episode is an invitation to reflect on your own journey — and ask yourself what phase you’re stepping into next.

  • Why High-Achieving Women Repeat Patterns With Identity Architect Riana Malia

Today on the Phase 4 Podcast, we welcome Riana Malia, a Board-Certified Neurosomatic Practitioner, Lightworker, and Identity Architect whose work is changing the way women understand love, identity, and emotional patterns.

    This conversation dives deep into:

    • Emotional availability

    • Nervous system ceilings

    • Trauma patterns vs. real connection

    • Why chemistry isn’t always compatible

    • How to build a secure internal foundation

    • How to call in partnership without over-functioning

If you’re ready for a relationship that meets you where you are — whole, grounded, expanded — this episode is your turning point.
