On Earth, Luke reunites with Phil and Jake after the DC Podcast Crisis to have a little discussion of the hows and whys of movie franchises. Afterwards, Tim joins (at 1:01:37) as they launch into hyper-four-dimensional-space to review “Guardians of the Galaxy” and the 4DX experience.

After a tragic absence on Monday, July 21st, Jake and Phil talk about the happenings from the most recent week, including talking about their experience with conventions and those kinds of things in general. Also, a short 30 minute conversation that was supposed to appear last week (which would have been 2 hours and 40 minutes) about all the DC films. How dandy!

Things we talked about in sequential order:

Danny Chance – Californian, CG modeler-man, and a guy who’s into animated movies like us, talks about some of his current projects. The conversation takes a different turn a bit later as we chat a bit about cinemas, a bit about CG films then and now, and bit about good ol’ storytelling.

Without any prep time, Phil and Jake decide to talk about film scores they like – and also breach any and every kind of copyright protection by playing bits of film score while they incessantly hum them like 5 year old children.
