Eagles/Giants Postgame Podcast: The Eagles lose again to another bad team as the New York Giants defeat the Eagles 27-10. It was 24-0 at halftime against the New York Giants. As you know in Episode 183, Geoff spent a good amount of time explaining why not playing the starters for this game was a logical & smart move to make to #1 prevent injuries and #2 rest the team for the playoffs. The Eagles chose to play their starters and AJ Brown, Sydney Brown, Reed Blankenship, Jergens & Jalen Hurts all left the game with injuries and some could be very serious injuries. Beyond the injury issue, this is just a bad football team with bad coaching. There are so many problems with this Eagles team it's hard to jam it all into one Episode, but we'll try. Cardinals/Eagles Postgame: Disaster strikes! The Eagles lose to the 3-12 Cardinals at home 35-31. What a pathetic display of defensive football that took place at home against a 3 win Cardinal team with the 27th ranked offense in the NFL just man-handling the Eagles throughout the game. The Eagles defense was unable to make a single stop the entire game outside of the brilliant 99 yard pick 6 by rookie Sydney Brown. Other than that, this bad offense of the Cardinals, didn't punt one time and scored 29 points in the second half in front of stunned crowd at the Linc. Gone is the NFC East Division, gone is the #2 seed, gone are any home games in the playoffs and gone is the 2023 season more than likely. Eagles/Giants Postgame Podcast.  The Eagles come away with a 33-25 victory over the NY Giants in a game that should have never been as close as it was, but the Eagles continue to play down to their opponents and just sloppy mistake filled football. Jalen Hurts rebounded with a good game throwing for over 300 yards. Swift with almost 100 yards and a TD as the offense is showing some good signs lately. Defensively, the Eagles played without Slay and without both starting LB's, but did enough to hold on for the win. Geoff goes over his thumbs up/thumbs down for the game. The Eagles are suppose to be one of the Eagles top teams? They were the first team to get to 10 wins. They were 10-1 at one time. Now find themselves at 10-4 with 3 straight losses. Maybe the Eagles brass did hit the panic button during the week when they decided to shake things up and demote Desai and move Patricia to call the defense play calls? I know one thing, I AM NOW HITTING THE PANIC BUTTON!?  What the heck is wrong with our $50 million/year QB? He has regressed this season mightily!
