This follows the bombshell grand jury report on clergy sexual abuse in the state, that was released earlier this year. Prosecutors are investigating crimes like possession of child pornography, and priests transporting children across state lines. Authorities also want to get the church's so-called "secret archives,” and have high-ranking officials testify.

It’s Thursday, October 18th. Notorious Philly mob boss Skinny Joey Merlino is headed back to prison after pleading guilty to a gambling-related charge. He will spend two more years behind bars after already serving time for racketeering, conspiracy, assault and other related offenses. He says he plans to use the time to get in shape. The number of women who hold executive board seats at Philadelphia’s top public companies is increasing. But some say the progress is too slow.
