Philippians 2:1–11 calls the church to unity and humility by pointing us to the self-giving mind of Christ. Though Jesus was equal with God, he willingly emptied himself, taking the form of a servant and becoming obedient to death on a cross. Because of this, God exalted him above every name, reminding us that the path to true glory runs through humble love and faithful obedience.
