Philippians was written around 60-62 AD by Paul the Apostle while he was  in prison. The book is full of joy and thanksgiving, both to Jesus and  to the saints from Philippi who supported Paul when no one else did.  Some of the all-time favorite verses in the Bible are found in  Philippians. Chapter 3 verses 13- 14: “Brethren, I count not myself to  have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which  are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before, I  press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ  Jesus.” Another much-loved nugget full of wisdom is found in chapter  4:8, “Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things  are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure,  whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if  there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.”  Listen as Michael Pearl takes you verse by verse through the book of  Philippians.
