Sunday, June 2, 2024 – Today's message is titled "Settling our Account in Heaven." This concludes our study on the letter of Philippians that Paul wrote to the church in Philippi. Throughout this 18-sermon series, we have explored the major theme of JOY and discovered that JOY is a result of a committed and faithful relationship with Jesus. No other relationship can offer joy like this. Today we are being encouraged to be content in all areas of life, regardless of the circumstances, and challenged to be committed in our giving of finances, time, and energy to God. Paul emphasizes that it’s not about how much one gives, but how it’s the spirit of how it’s given that ensures their accounts are credited as a result of their faithful giving. There is much to consider here, so I encourage you to worship and study along to hear the word of the Lord in all these areas.
