1. Identify Networks – Know if a number belongs to Smart, Globe Telecom, DITO, etc.
2. Save Money – Some plans offer cheaper calls and texts within the same network.
3. Avoid Scams – Recognizing prefixes helps spot suspicious numbers.

Example Prefixes in the Philippines:

• Globe/TM: 0917, 0995, 0977
• Smart/TNT: 0919, 0998, 0947
• DITO: 0991, 0992
