We talk all-things Birds with former Eagles receiver "Arkansas Fred" Barnett! Our second guest is the author of a great new book, out just in time for Hanukkah and Christmas: It's Matt Goldberg and his book, written with the help of dozens of guest writers, is called Rings of Kindness. Plus, Bill, "Boop" and Chet make their Week 16 NFL picks ... we remember Hall of Famer Franco Harris ... and we pass along holiday wishes to our fantastic viewers and listeners.

The Eagles are 12-1 and we have a Hall of Fame journalist back on Philly Pressbox Radio for the first time since he officially retired last spring, the great RAY DIDINGER. Lots of Eagles talk with Ray, plus he tells us how he watches Sunday football games now that he doesn't have to go to the studio. The Eagles keep on rolling -- 11-1 now, with a battle at the Meadowlands against the Giants up next. We get help from a couple of great guests: Philadelphia Inquirer Sixers beat writer KEITH POMPEY and a former Inquirer Phillies reporter who is now NJ.com's New York Giants beat reporter, BOB BROOKOVER. The Eagles have improved to 10-1, the 76ers are on a mini-winning streak, Team USA advanced to the World Cup's Round of 16 ... heck, even the Flyers finally snapped a long losing skid! All of that gets addressed on this week's Philly Pressbox Radio show with a couple of great guests stopping by: SportsRadio WIP's JAMES SELTZER and sports artist JORDAN SPECTOR. Even though Bill Furman is on vacation this week, he'll be sure to pass along his NFL Week 13 picks -- Jim "Chet" Chesko and Bob Vetrone Jr. ("Boop") make their selections, too. The Eagles somehow snagged a victory in Indy on Sunday. Meanwhile, the 76ers keep losing players to injury and now welcome a certain former No. 1 overall pick back to Philly. We talk all-things-Sixers with the team's long-time radio voice, Tom McGinnis, in a special Tuesday evening show! Of course, Bill Furman, Jim "Chet" Chesko and Bob Vetrone Jr. ("Boop") make some NFL Week 12 picks along the way as we all get ready for Turkey Day!

Any thoughts of an undefeated Eagles season went out the door with a loud crash Monday night. Now what? Lots of Birds talk on this week's Philly Pressbox Radio show as former Eagles beat writer MARK ECKEL makes a return visit. We cover the Sixers, Flyers and Phillies, too, of course ... and Bill, Chet and "Boop" make their Week 11 NFC predictions.

Well, the Phillies and Union both came up a bit short, but the Eagles are still unbeaten! Also, the Philadelphia Sports Hall of Fame last week inducted several new members and hosted a wonderful banquet; the Hall's treasurer, Mike Conroy, visits the show to talk about the Hall and the current Philly spors scene.
