Well, here we are folks.

We’ve seen scoreless matches, lethargic defensive displays, and everything inbetween from a Phoenix Rising team that has not been able to get momentum going. Rising’s match against Memphis 901 FC is the new low point in the season.

With two early first half goals that seemed all too easy to concede, Rising went in to half with many real questions and no real answers. It would only get worse from them as poor marking during both set pieces and counterattacks would have Rising concede three more goals before the final whistle mercifully blew.

There’s a lot to unpack including what this could mean for the club moving forward.
