Only one night remains before the Royale Court hunts down Nell and friends. They arrive in Faerie Plains to learn more about the origins of the treasures, concerning news regarding Aurelius sightings around Artemis, and a life decision to make. Will they come quietly, or will they find a way to save their beloved planet from anymore suffering?

Nell and his friends arrive at Sothe Village to learn more about the four treasures. The meet Eliza Schwartz, a wealthy young woman living with Claude and her dog and she shares her wealth of knowledge. What business does Basil have? And can Iris defeat an unexpected foe before another tragedy happens?

The PW crew is back to continue the aftermath of the battle between Nell and Vayne. After recovering from harrowing events, Nell and his friends head down to Port Ciel to gather food and information when Nell encounters a mysterious bauplus in town. Meanwhile the Crystallania Empire's plan begins to move.

Shocking twists and turns swift by Nell and his friends, as the people they've put their trust in suddenly attempts to kill them. As they slowly learn the truth, Vayne and his allies escape to fly over to Xiaolin City in hopes of an attack of despair.

Nell's reunion with the group is short-lived when a surprise attack causes their escape plan to backfire. Salem and Elliot are accidentally separated, and Nell, Iris. and Amelia reluctantly escape. As Nell and Iris reveal the origins of the Aurelius to their studious comrade, Amelia, an unexpected yet unfortunate truth awaits these five unsung heroes.

The events of the previous episode follow parallel to what unfolds in this episode. Night falls and apprehensions rise as Iris, Elliot, and Amelia's group pass the time away with idle chit-chat. Frustration and concern for their their friends soon win out, throwing Iris and Elliot in the midst of a dire threat. An unlikely traveler brings them closer to saving their friends.

Unable to reason with Vayne, Nell is thrown in a dungeon cell as an act of absolute control of Dalmest Kingdom and its people. Recalling his childhood memories, Nell is plagued by his past choices as a leader. On the outside, the Salem and Amelia have taken action within the castle to save their trapped friend.

Awakened after a nightmare of his mother's passing, Nell soon detects a snowstorm and rushes his party to Dalmest Kingdom. However, they learn that all is not well within the kingdom under the new prince. Meanwhile, Rosalia of the Royale Court pays a visit to Cacellia Village, receiving an unexpected surprise!

Still trapped within Cacellia Labyrinth, the trio face greater hardships, but not before discovering their long-lost comrade. The hope to overcome all odds as a team and make their escape from the dreaded basilisk seems much brighter...or is it?
