Welcome back! Four months into the New Year, as we welcome the new blooms of spring's flowers, we still need to be reminded of God's consistent hand. In this episode, we piggyback off last year's conversations about ushering in a new year with the Christian perspective focused on God's unchanging nature. We are reminded that God is not limited by worldly time and space, but his sovereignty makes him the anchor that brings stability to our wavering life circumstances.

How have you experienced God in your life? In this episode, we talk about how God reveals himself and our expectations of God's presence. We talk about having the faith to believe he can show up in ways we cannot fathom. We also talked about not limiting God to how he has chosen to manifest himself in the past, but being open to experiencing him in a new way.

In this episode, we caught you up with what is going on in our lives and talk about a little bit of everything. One of the gems mentioned in this episode was the idea of changing our thinking. As Christians, we are called to think as God does, not man. This episode serves as a reminder to be "forward-thinking", understanding that we can't control the thoughts of others, but only ourselves.   

The freedom we have in Christ is a privilege, and it came at a high cost. In this week's episode we dive into the ways in which God has set us free on our personal journeys and how that often challenges the world's idea of freedom. 

We can sometimes find our faith wavering when we are waiting on God, but not yet seeing certain promises fulfilled in our lives. In this episode we talk about trusting in the beautiful covenant that He made with us and renewing that covenant -- coming back to Him to restore our relationship after disappointment, heartache, and anything else that may cause us to withdraw from Him. We all experience periods of tension in our relationship. Tune in to be encouraged as we talk through our troubles and ultimately bring them back to God.

Everyone is blessed with the ability to pray. Prayer is not monolithic. God knows all of our individual needs so naturally, the way we pray will be drastically different from one another. Sometimes we can become confused about what actually to pray for. In this episode, we ponder "the way to pray", highlighting the significance of taking our flesh out of prayer, coming in thanksgiving, praying wholeheartedly, and being disciplined and intentional in our conversations with God.

Finding goodness in the midst of negativity is not easy -- especially when bad news seems to be pressing in on all sides. Today we share the goodness of the One in whom we find our hope, and the reality that it can be hard for believers too, to focus on the light when darkness feels so prevalent. We also discuss the heart posture behind serving others and the importance of finding that balance to make sure we are taking good care of ourselves as well.

In this episode, we talk about gratitude during a season of waiting. It can be hard to be patient and appreciate what God has already done for us when we have our hearts fixed on something more. We understand! We encourage you to focus on the blessings that the Lord has already bestowed upon you and remember his goodness, even during your wait.
