I will agree with Microsoft that Google and Apple have similar capabilities to secure their respective operating systems. The problem is: the security of Android is not entirely in Google's hands.

As much as I like what T-Mobile is doing for the mobile industry as a whole (issues with zero-rating aside), their service doesn't work for my family's circumstances anymore. A switch has been made.

I have a few thoughts on the Pokémon GO craze that is sweeping the nation and has my son wandering all over creation.

DD-WRT is an open-source firmware for wireless routers. I pretty much don't buy a consumer-grade router unless I can install DD-WRT on it, as they actually make those routers a bit more useful. Unlike vendor firmware, which may never see an update, DD-WRT gets updates pretty regularly.
