This unified service brought the church family together to celebrate ten public baptisms and hear powerful personal testimonies of faith and life transformation. The congregation also highlighted their ongoing local mission work feeding families through High Point Charitable Services. Grounded in a message from Hebrews 10:19–25, the service encouraged believers to hold fast to hope, stay deeply connected in community, and actively spur one another on toward love and good works.
Recounting a powerful student camp experience, this message celebrates the hunger teenagers displayed for worship, Scripture, and genuine community. The central metaphor of open hands captures a posture of surrender, generous service, and receiving more of God. The challenge is to carry that same fire beyond Sunday—cutting out distraction, pursuing daily Bible reading, and stepping into obedience through baptism—so that what was experienced at camp becomes a way of life for the whole church family.
True identity isn't found in vocation, sexuality, or worldly definitions—it's found in being a child of God, shaped by the Potter for His purposes. Like clay on a potter's wheel, we are called to be moldable, absorbent, and maturing, trusting that the Creator knows more than the created. Repentance opens the door to God's mercy and redemptive plan, while a renewed mind through Scripture helps discern His perfect will. The call remains the same as in Jeremiah's day: trust the potter, stay centered, and yield to the hands that shape you.
Celebrating the church's mission work in Charleston and locally, this message highlights how disciples are being made, baptisms are taking place, and lives are being transformed through obedient service. Launching a new series called 'Who is Your King?', it challenges believers to examine what occupies the throne of their hearts. Drawing from Isaiah 6, it illustrates how God meets us in our brokenness, takes our burdens, and sends us out on mission. The call is to set aside what hinders the gospel and engage fully in God's work over the next 40 days.
12 Therefore, I urge you, brothers and sisters, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God—this is your true and proper worship. 2 Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will. - Romans 12:1-2 NIV
One thing I ask from the Lord,
this only do I seek:
that I may dwell in the house of the Lord
all the days of my life,
to gaze on the beauty of the Lord
and to seek him in his temple.
5
For in the day of trouble
he will keep me safe in his dwelling;
he will hide me in the shelter of his sacred tent
and set me high upon a rock.
6
Then my head will be exalted
above the enemies who surround me;
at his sacred tent I will sacrifice with shouts of joy;
I will sing and make music to the Lord. Psalm 27:4-6 NIV
12 Therefore, as God’s chosen people, holy and dearly loved, clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience. 13 Bear with each other and forgive one another if any of you has a grievance against someone. Forgive as the Lord forgave you. 14 And over all these virtues put on love, which binds them all together in perfect unity.
15 Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, since as members of one body you were called to peace. And be thankful. 16 Let the message of Christ dwell among you richly as you teach and admonish one another with all wisdom through psalms, hymns, and songs from the Spirit, singing to God with gratitude in your hearts. 17 And whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him. Colossians 3:12-17 NIV
4 In the presence of God and of Christ Jesus, who will judge the living and the dead, and in view of his appearing and his kingdom, I give you this charge: 2 Preach the word; be prepared in season and out of season; correct, rebuke and encourage—with great patience and careful instruction. -2 Timothy 4:1-2 NIV
10 This is what the Lord says: “When seventy years are completed for Babylon, I will come to you and fulfill my good promise to bring you back to this place. 11 For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. 12 Then you will call on me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you. 13 You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart. 14 I will be found by you,” declares the Lord, “and will bring you back from captivity.[a] I will gather you from all the nations and places where I have banished you,” declares the Lord, “and will bring you back to the place from which I carried you into exile.” - Jeremiah 29:10–14 NIV
3 His divine power has given us everything we need for a godly life through our knowledge of him who called us by his own glory and goodness. 4 Through these he has given us his very great and precious promises, so that through them you may participate in the divine nature, having escaped the corruption in the world caused by evil desires. 2 Peter 1:3-4
