ConBERTAciones

Photo or no Photo

Listen Later

In today’s world, we’ve become obsessed with pictures, posts, and the constant sharing of our lives on social media. Sometimes we stand in a place, surrounded by beauty, family, or laughter, and instead of simply being there, we are already thinking about the angles, the lighting, and how the moment will look in a frame on our screens.

And now, with the holidays here, with family gatherings and celebrations filling our calendars, I want to gently bring your attention to a question that matters more than we realize:

What are we truly supposed to do? Are we supposed to frame the memory, or are we supposed to live the memory? Are we supposed to enjoy the moment or publish the moment? Or perhaps… is there a way to do both, carefully, intentionally, wisely?

The truth is not every moment needs to be shared. Not every memory needs an audience.

Some moments are meant to be lived, fully, deeply, held only in the hearts of the people God placed in that space at that time.

Yes, take your photos. Rearrange the table if you want the perfect shot. I’ve done it too, trust me, I understand. There’s nothing wrong with wanting to remember.

I hope we remember this:

Photos or no photos, the memory is what matters. The memory is what stays, and as my friend Dehily always says, the memory is what lasts, and that's the best CLICK!
