delete any symbol from your code if you think it is no longer required.

Tool windows can be opened with keyboard shortcuts! They also automatically
get focus this way. And you can move back to the editor window with a
keyboard shortcut as well.

Refactoring support is one of the greatest features of PhpStorm in my
opinion. It is a huge time saver, especially when working with legacy code
bases that need refactoring.

PhpStorm supports having multiple projects open at the same time. This is a
handy way to cycle through them quickly. This only works on OSX. I am not
aware of a shortcut for Windows.
