PHX Podcast Club

For this Podcaster Hotseat, we were joined by Garret Godfrey from the Good Patron Podcast. He leads us down his workflow path, talks about processes as a young parent trying to podcast, dealing with burnout and just respecting your listeners.

This was recorded live at Fate Brewing during our second Podcast Hotseat session. Garret is one of the organizers of the club and has been around since the beginning. If you are looking for anyone to talk to about music, being a good music listener, artist support or coffee, you want to know Garret!

Starting in 2025, your PHXPodcast Club will start hosting what we are tentatively calling The Podcaster Hot Seat. The idea is that a single Phoenix based podcaster runs through the nuts and bolts of their show! From their tech stack, to their recording gear, all of the software, where and how they host their audio and more! Plus, you have the opportunity to ask questions! A real hot seat!

For this inaugural Hot Seat, Don Burnside, White Roof Radio, was our victim, er,  Phoenix-based podcaster to tell us how his podcast is produced, including his tech stack, software used and processes.
