Silent Night. Thinking about the atmosphere of the night Jesus was born and how that song described it: Quiet, Still.   Consider the condition of the world during the time Jesus was born.   Before Jesus was born God had not spoken to His people in 400 years. Not only was the world in darkness there was spiritual darkness. It's not so different from what we see in our world today.   Is God silent?  Or are we unaware whether He is Present or departed?
 Luke 1:78-79 (NIV) because of the tender mercy of our God, by which the rising sun will come to us from heaven to shine on those living in darkness and in the shadow of death, to guide our feet into the path  of peace.”

We are in a time in history when there are people in positions of leadership who want to control the Narrative so they will ultimately control outcomes.  {Narrative: a spoken or written account of connected events; a story; portrayal; statement; account; chronicle.} What we are seeing is a push for  Narrative Control designed to push a certain ideology or viewpoint. Knowing how to discern truth  from error is critical.   We must discern by the Spirit the truth behind every matter that is presented as authentic.  Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God. For many false prophets have gone out into the world. (1John 4:1)(BSB)

When God declares His Word from heaven All creation responds to His Voice! Likewise when we say what God says, everything comes in alignment because it is the Word of God. Great Awakening! A GREAT  AWAKENING is taking place throughout all the Earth. Demonic systems, strongholds, principalities and powers are being dismantled. People are being shaken to Call to action!
The True and Living God is declaring to the inhabitants on earth, "Behold,  you are witnessing  A Divine  Changing of the Guard in the earth  because it has been authorized from Heaven".  Forever, O LORD, Your word is settled in heaven. (Psalm 119:89)(NKJV) There are times when Change comes under rigorous conditions that force us to align with the will of God.

God is a Disruptor and He’s dismantling every system and stronghold that has a grip on the people of nations. Why? Because He created human beings in His Image for His Purpose. (Genesis 1:27)  We’re in a defining moment when God’s Hand is shaking nations which results in a yearning for freedom that springs forth from the hearts of the people.  Ancient spirits that have ruled over regions are coming down! The Spirit of the Lord is at work.  We decree and declare where the Spirit of the Lord is there is Freedom!  Freedom in Christ Jesus!  A Great Awakening is here!

Oh, give thanks to the Lord, for He is good! For His mercy endures forever. (Psalm 107:1)(NKJV)  Today our nation celebrates Thanksgiving. A day we reflect on how Good God is..  George Washington our first president established  in 1789 our first national “day of public thanksgiving and prayer.” 
Today as we give thanks to the Lord let’s see ourselves as He sees us. The condition of a nation is reflected in the spiritual condition of the Church/Ecclesia. What condition are you in? I hear people all over the world saying by the spirit, I’m Good. I have a plan. But are you doing what your Creator designed you to do? Is it also God's Plan?

There are people operating in ways that they think no one will see them and no one will ever know what they're doing. They believe they're above reproach- they can buy their way out of any situation- they are beyond reach and can never be removed. 
Yet they are about to enter a new Era: Era  of  Discover: galah:(gaw-law') Hebrew; Strong's Concordance, 1540; to uncover, remove.
They encourage themselves in [their pursuit of] an evil agenda; They talk of laying snares secretly; They say, “Who will discover us?” (Psalm 64:5)(AMP)
 Since there's a famine in the land of hearing the word of God there's a harvest of souls ripe for the kingdom of God.  Jesus speaks of our hope in Him in (John 5:24),"Truly, truly, I tell you, whoever hears My word and believes Him who sent Me has eternal life and will not come under judgment. Indeed, he has crossed over from death to life".

The time is surely coming,” says the Sovereign Lord,“when I will send a famine on the land—not a famine of bread or water but of hearing the words of the Lord. People will stagger from sea to sea and wander from border to border[ searching for the word of the Lord but they will not find it.   Amos 8:11-12 (NLT)
What condition are we, the people, in? Are we dull of hearing?  God is speaking. The famine is a result of when people intentionally choose not to hear and then are unable to recognize spiritual blindness that arises to consume every aspect of their lives.
 Famine of the Word of God is dangerous; it separates us from God. It yields strong delusion. Our faith in God grows mightily when we stay in His Word  and in His Presence. It equips us for life and for the things to come.  It's time to Know what you don't know.

We see the advent of a Joseph Anointing in Leadership: A prophetic leader who is in the assignment our Creator has appointed them to fulfill before the foundation of the  world.  God gave Joseph  dreams. Joseph shared the details of  those dreams with his brothers  as well as the rest of the family. Neither Joseph nor his brothers recognized the dreams were of God. However, Jacob, his father, did make note of them. He did keep the dream in his heart. (Genesis 37:11)  God sometimes shows us glimpses into our future. Pay attention.

God doesn’t want us to be ignorant. These precursors are not  to be ignored but motivators for us to draw nearer to the Lord Jesus for His guidance.
