We're being cracked open right now. We're being reminded that we don't have as much control as we like to think.
And perhaps most importantly, we're being reminded that one day, we will die.
Of course, that reality is always there, but it's hard to not look at right now.
Within this crisis and reminder of our death (whether in old age or much sooner) we are being tuned to what really matters. We're waking up to who we really want to be and know we are deep down inside. Many of us are choosing to make this our time to become stronger and stop holding back who we really are.
In this episode, I share with you some encouragement and invitations on how you can make this your time to become the strongest version of yourself.
It's not every day you meet someone as incredibly skilled, humble and generous as Dr. Cofield.
She's been educating people for years on how to rebuild their foundations, reclaim their physical freedom and now, helps other coaches and teachers thrive making an impact in the world.
If you're wanting to rebuild your body and wake up feeling like the strongest version of yourself, you need a strong mindset to help you stay consistent through any challenges that come up.
In this episode, we talk about exactly what perspective shifts you need to make and the common mistakes you might be making in your own mindset.
I hope you enjoy!
Is deep healing really possible with your body even if you've experienced trauma or injury? Or are you just left with to cope with whatever scars that life has given you?
In this interview with trauma and movement expert Jane Clapp, we explore how to heal your body on a deep level and why it's essential to bring embodiment into your healing journey.
We also talked about the importance of structure, routines and isolating key areas of the body to get them working properly again, but not forgetting the critical role of play and exploration to create more integration.

Wait. Aren't labels supposed to be a bad thing? Well, maybe. But sometimes we're just afraid to really own what we want to be or know we are deep down. We're afraid of the expectations from others, we're afraid of really owning what we want, we're afraid of... ourselves.
In this conversation with Jon Yuen, movement trainer and teacher, we dive deep into how to create more freedom in your body. Not just from a purely physical perspective though. We talk about the mindset, beliefs and culture that shapes how we think, feel and move.
If you're looking for something beyond the standard, mainstream fitness advice, you will probably get a lot from this conversation. Jon drops so many knowledge bombs that you'll probably want to listen twice.

How do you integrate healthy movement, connection, and realign your body without quitting your day job?
In this episode of the podcast, I sat down with Aaron Alexander to talk about his new book The Align Method, where he shares his insights from over a decade working with clients on how you can reclaim your natural mobility and strength.
This isn't your average "sit up straight" and "drink more water" kind of prescription either.
We get into the importance of auditing your movement throughout the day, how to reclaim your relationship with the floor and why having more compassion for others can transform your relationship with yourself.

#002 - What's the number one key to a strong, flexible, pain-free body? It starts with... trust. Now, that might sound unconventional, but it's true. If your body doesn't trust you to move safely it's going to respond with pain and tension. This is your body's way of guarding.
Listen in on this episode as I share with you my insights from working with hundreds of students over the last 5 years to reclaim their physical freedom. We talk about how to rebuild trust and the number one habit you can develop starting today.

#001 - We did it! We started a podcast. Well, I started the podcast, but it's because you guys kept bugging me to do it. So... you're welcome. :)
For real though, this episode is more of the "typical intro" stuff. I share with you the background story behind starting the show and a little of my journey to reclaiming my physical freedom (spoiler: it hasn't been easy).
Lastly, I give you guys a really valuable micro-practice at the end that I think will be really helpful if you're wanting to get strong in your body.
