Otago got the win over Bay of Plenty, thanks in part to another outstanding individual effort from Dylan Pledger, who continues to make a strong case for higher honours. Canterbury also claimed victory over Hawke’s Bay with a dominant second-half performance.

Heading into the Grand Final this weekend, the lads reminisce about their favourite NPC final moments of all time.

The NPC quarter-finals have wrapped up, bringing some cracking results and a few outstanding individual performances. The lads dive into a full review of all the weekend’s action.

Canterbury, Hawke’s Bay, Bay of Plenty, and Otago are all semi-final bound this weekend. Each of the fellas has been randomly assigned one of the remaining teams to pitch their case for why they reckon their side will take out the 2025 NPC Championship.

It’s another year wrapped up for The Rugby Championship, as the fellas dive into a full review of the final round with South Africa going back-to-back.

The boys then review Round 10 of the NPC which saw a few upsets and few cricket scores that helped solidify the top eight, with North Harbour collecting their first win of the season,  the lads wrap up the chat with a preview of the quarter-finals.

The lads kick things off by reviewing the latest round of The Rugby Championship. New Zealand have once again retained the Bledisloe Cup, and Eden Park continues its reputation as an unshakable fortress. But it raises the question: should the Bledisloe really be a three-game series?

Meanwhile, South Africa powered past Argentina in convincing fashion, looking more dangerous than ever. With only one round remaining, it’s down to either South Africa or New Zealand to claim the Rugby Championship title, who will come out on top?

The lads also dive into the final round of the NPC before the playoffs, where North Harbour are still chasing their first win of the season.

While North Harbour suffered heartbreak in the dying minutes yet again. They now meet Otago this weekend with a chance to bring the Shield back north for only the second time ever.

New Zealand took a big beating from the Springboks over the weekend – is it a Wellington curse? The lads dive into what went wrong and where they would rank the Springboks’ win over New Zealand in terms of visiting teams pulling off a victory here.

You’d have to say there’s no real in-form side at the moment. This must be the closest Rugby Championship ever, with everyone sitting on two wins and two losses. Who will take the reigns and go all the way?
The lads then turn to the NPC. Can Canterbury go for an unbeaten season and carry the Log o’ Wood into next year? Will we see a North Harbour winless 2025 season?

The Fortress is still standing as, despite the recent talk about Eden Park streak coming to an end, the All Blacks were too good for South Africa in a wet & windy affair in Auckland.
 
With the NFL seasons kicking off once again, we wonder which rugby player would make it as an  gridiron great.
 
We take a trip down memory lane as we look back at the last defeat the All Blacks suffered at Eden Park and what things were like at the time of the last defeat.
 
So, what were the key turning points between South Africa and New Zealand? Were South Africa underprepared for the weather or did the All Blacks just get the tactics right.
 
The team now moves to Wellington, which raises the question, why isn’t Wellington, or any other stadium as much as a fortress as Auckland?

Australia look like they might be back to their very best & that is great news for the game of rugby. The team on the PAG look back at Australia’s comeback win against South Africa and try to figure out what happened.
 
Are South Africa falling from grace, while Australia rises like a phoenix from the flames?
 
New Zealand were also playing in some very testing conditions against a very strong Argentina side who would be looking to beat NZ on home soil, but a solid performance - even if it wasn’t spectacular - meant the ABs took the W.
 
With those two results the Rugby Championship has been blown wide open.
NPC continues its exciting start and the panel will be look ahead to all this weekend’s exciting action.
