Pick n' Mix

We take a deep dive into the brand new (well...) Sonic 3 prototype recently unearthed by hiddenpalace.org. Of note is the origin of both the homing attack and the drop dash, but more importantly to us is the origin of what we know as the "PC" exclusive tracks, as it turns out they were the original tracks all along. Come with us as we explore the MIDI, FM, Sonic 3 Complete and prototype versions of every track with major differences between this build and final.

Games List:

Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Games Tokyo 2020

Persona 5 Royal

Super Monkey Ball: Banana Blitz HD

On this catestrophic week for pop culutre releases, we take things back to the past... by looking at SEGA titles released in the last month. There's the amazing, the trash and the haven't played, that sounds like a recipe for success right?

Games List:

Galaxy Force II [FM Towns]

Planet Harriers

The Rub Rabbits! (Aka-chan wa Doko Kara Kuru no?)

This week's Pick n' Mix takes a different approach to the one scheduled, instead looking at 3 games with no correlation to each other other than the fact that they all have great music! Won't you come and get FM funky with the rabbits in the fantasy zone?

RadioSEGA's Fan Choice Song of the Year 2019 competition is upon us! We play through some of the potential candidates for Round 2 including some from some just barely released titles! To cast your vote, visit both radiose.ga/fanchoice2019 and radiose.ga/songof2019.

The first of many (hopefully) RadioSEGA Shuffles hit your ears at a time that meant it was convenient to also play Halloween music alongside it. Who knows what will come up, it's random! Don't embrace that random though, that's the job of another show, just appreciate it and some slightly more unsettling than usual tunes.

Games List:

Girls Make the World Go Round

Super Monkey Ball: Banana Splitz

Super Monkey Ball Deluxe

Super Monkey Ball Step and Roll

Super Monkey Ball Touch and Roll

Pick n' Mix this week takes on the Super Monkey Ball franchise ahead of its return with Banana Blitz HD. We find ourselves in the nitty gritty of the highs and lows of the franchise while jamming along and navigating through the errors in Code Breakers and an upset in King of Requesters. It's a packed one that's a must listen for anyone, especially so for fans of monkeys and balls. (Haha, innuendo! So clever!)

Games List:

Hatsune Miku -Project DIVA- F

Sonic Forces

Yakuza 0 (Ryu ga Gotoku 0)

Welcome to the start of Pick n' Mix! You may have heard the show before, but you've not heard the show before. Gone is the format of the special episode, and in is our week in week out format. We introduce our new gameshow segment known as "Code Breakers" and our PvP chart segment known as "King of Requesters" while taking your requests and hearing your thoughts on the games at hand. Just remember, anything could come out of the mix!

Advertised as the "show you've waited AGES for", Pick 'n Mix brings in a new era of RadioSEGA LiVE celebrations. Anything could happen and any segment from a past show could appear in the hyper sugar rush of a pilot!
