Eddie Johnson has successfully defended the Pick The Push Championship twice. This Saturday in Tampa he goes for three against Dabber2003 and caitlindunn_ in a triple threat. A third successful defense would be historic for Pick The Push. We break down what that means and sit down with the champion ahead of the biggest match of his reign.

WrestleMania is done and the Pick The Push Championship picture has never looked more complicated.

Eddie Johnson scored 70 points at WrestleMania — the highest score of the night — and successfully defended the Pick The Push Championship against Dpants. Two defenses. Tied for the most in Pick The Push history. The most consistent champion the game has ever seen.

But here's where it gets interesting.

When the champion wins the Royale there is no traditional #1 Contender. Instead we get a triple threat. Eddie Johnson defends the Pick The Push Championship against Dabber2003 and caitlindunn_ at WWE Backlash on May 9th. A championship match format Pick The Push has never seen before.

Someone also just found out they owe the next Promo Punishment. They are not happy about it.

Speaking of Promo Punishments — Joe pays his debt from AEW Dynasty. His assignment was a Ricky Bobby promo. He was not pleased about this. He gave it everything he had anyway. Make of that what you will.

And Joe makes his case for Raw being the better show this week. AEW leads the season 11-4. Darby and Ciampa burnt the house down on Dynamite. Joe had his work cut out for him.

Eddie Johnson successfully defended the Pick The Push Championship against Thejaredholmes by 3 points in one of the closest championship matches in Royale history. The most consistent player in PTP history is still your champion and WrestleMania is this weekend.

Meanwhile Dpants scored 81 points at Dynasty to become the new #1 Contender. They are ranked 26th on the overall leaderboard. They do not care. The championship is next and they will tell you exactly why that does not matter.
