It's nearly time to really dig into the preseason on-field news of college football, with media days for some conferences taking place this week.

So Doug Lesmerises and Shehan Jeyarajah are taking this week's episode to take one last look off the field, and do something that this show about the college football playoff has wanted to do since it started a year ago:

On this episode, Doug and Shehan take turns making nominations to the 13-person committee, choosing specific people and groups of people. For instance, Doug wants to hold a contest to get a fan on the committee. Does Shehan agree?
