The Browns season is essentially over after they lost to the Chargers to drop to 2-7 and eyes are fully on the future.
It‘s no surprise our Football Insider text subscribers want to know what’s next for the Browns and if all the current pieces will remain in place moving forward or if there could be big changes on the horizon.
Mary Kay Cabot and Dan Labbe answer questions from subscribers about the futures of head coach Kevin Stefanski and GM Andrew Berry and what factors will go into determining them as the rest of this season plays out on Tuesday’s Hey, Mary Kay! edition of the Orange and Brown Talk podcast.
They also talk about the future of the quarterback position, how it impacts all the other decisions they have to make and they take a look at one very big decision the Browns made on Monday.

We know the Browns will be in a position this offseason trying to figure out the future at the quarterback position. They’ll have to decide what to do with Deshaun Watson and who Dorian Thompson-Robinson is longterm.
What about Jameis Winston?
Mary Kay Cabot, Ashley Bastock and Dan Labbe spend time on Wednesday‘s Orange and Brown Talk podcast discussing Winston and what could happen if he’s able to take advantage of this starting opportunity after Watson’s season-ending injury.
Could he realistically play his way into the discussion at the position beyond this year or will the Browns have to find a different way to address the position?

The Browns entertained their fans Sunday with a surprising 29-24 win over the Baltimore Ravens at Huntington Bank Field.
The game marked the debut of Jameis Winston as the Browns’ starting quarterback, in place of Deshaun Watson, who is out for the season after Achilles tendon surgery Friday. Winston threw a 38-yard touchdown pass to Cedric Tillman with 59 seconds left for the final margin as the Browns (2-6) ended a losing streak at five.
Winston finished the day 27 of 41 passing for 334 yards. It was his first start since Sept. 25, 2022, for New Orleans.
So what does Winston‘s performance mean for the Browns’ future at quarterback? What does it mean for Deshaun Watson? Was there more to this performance by the offense than just the quarterback change?
Mary Kay Cabot, Ashley Bastock and Dan Labbe talk about what they saw Sunday in this episode of the Orange and Brown Talk podcast.
They talk Winston and then they talk about Denzel Ward suffering his sixth known concussion.
