Today's episode is about the Untold Truths in the service industry, from a photographer perspective. When people have never worked in a service industry they don't really understand the ins and outs of what goes behind it. Being a small business owner and working for yourself definitely has it's perks when it comes to creating your own schedule, but it is extremely difficult at times. Most businesses, especially during the pandemic, walk on thin ice daily to keep their clients happy and to not "rock the boat", even if that means not sticking up for themselves. One bad review could destroy a business, and as photographers, we are constantly on high alert to make sure we don't upset a client and possibly lose our business. We hope this episode gives a solid understanding to others of how important grace is. This goes both ways! Our goal was to shed light on some topics that aren't easy to discuss. Hopefully it helps people understand both perspectives and to also help other small business owners feel like they aren't alone.
