Our theory: Julian Assange is a conduit for stuff the CIA wants published, and it's not a coincidence that the documents make the Iranians look like villains.

AS THE American Midwest endures what's being called an "inland hurricane", we look at the winds of change and evil swirling around the globe: war preparations in the Middle East; the IMF puts the squeeze on Pakistan; an earthquake, tsunami, and volcano in Indonesia; and Benjamin Creme continues to spread the myth of Maitreya.
We also note with sadness the passing of Zecharia Sitchin, who died October 9th.  While we don't know the status of Mr. Sitchin's heart, his conviction that humanity was seeded by an ancient race of astronauts called the Anunnaki has led many astray.  We pray that Mr. Sitchin found the Truth before the end.

THE MORTGAGE foreclosure scandal is taking on epic proportions: the New York Federal Reserve Bank has joined a consortium that's pressuring Bank of America to buy back bad mortgages that were packaged into $47 billion worth of bonds sold by Countrywide Mortgage, now a part of BoA.  Meanwhile, Bank of America has sued the FDIC over alleged fraud by a failed lender that BoA says double and triple-pledged mortgages on Mortgage Backed Securities.
How does this all play out? We have no idea, but it doesn't look good.  Abbot and Costello illustrate how this whole thing happened in the first place.
