She was not provided with sufficient information by her doctors; therefore, she brushed the diagnosis off as not that serious. She didn't realize the major implications it would have on her life until it led to fertility issues. Kat describes how she felt lost in her fertility struggles and how she felt frustrated by the lack of resources and lack of support for women with Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome in Canada.
