You want the success and glory of being saved, but you never realize that being saved comes with daily sacrifice, daily surrender, and daily suffering. Paul shows us his mental battle between choosing what he would gain from living in his flesh and remaining in Christ despite everything. Despite feelings, frustration, things deemed as “fruitful”, and wavering faith.
Healing and hurting are supposed to coexist on your daily walk in God.
Paul helps us understand that it is a partnership with God. Not a forced relationship or persuasion. Paul revealed that shame can guide where you hide. God is asking you, when you experience sorrow, sin, or forms of peace, where do you reside? How long does the peace they give you last? How long are you dwelling in what you’re sorry for?
In this episode, Philippians Chapter 1 helps us gain a stronger understanding of following God & the unspoken reality many are afraid to speak about at the table. Also, read John 16:16-23 to see how God turns your sorrow into JOY! 🌞✨🫶🏽🤍

You are taught to perform & adhere to other people's terms, whether it's those of family, social media, or your environment. You learn to carry certain actions, patterns, mindsets, and behaviors that disregard your heart & allows your hurt to put on a performance. Showing up in jobs, in connections, and in pleasure feels good until it doesn't, and the moment passes.
Until you are forced to sit with yourself. Frontin' will be at the cost of what you're refusing to ignore on the backend -which is you. In part two of this episode, we deeply examine Galatians 5: 19-21 CSB & TPT to understand why we need to apply more pressure to Satan and less pressure on God.
Stop putting on a front and stop performing - God isn't in a rush & He wants you to unveil the real you - outside of the facades.

From childhood, we are taught to put on a front and suppress our feelings for productivity. How we show up as an adult, a parent, an employee, or an athlete. Once the performance is over & the mask is taken off, we have to sit in the reality of who we are outside of the position and performance.
In Part 1 of this episode, we share the dangers of upholding an outward routine when inwardly you are hurting & struggling to heal.

It is necessary and selfless to disconnect with the world to reconnect with yourself and God. In this episode, I reflect on the lessons I’ve learned and carry with me as I’ve entered this new chapter of life. Based on where you are in life, what lessons have been the easiest and hardest for you to learn?

Your inner child is suffering because your outer adult believes burnout is normal, and it's not. When your outer adult normalizes burnout, it’s always at the cost of your inner child and heart. God is keeping you still so you can see what's going on within you, even when you don't understand what's going on around you. Be still and know (Psalm 46:10).

The way you learned love may be why God’s love feels unfamiliar. Your emotional health and well-being are begging you to release your heart back to the one who created you. The created will never fix what The Creator never broke.
God never broke your trust. He never broke our hearts. We did that. People did that. Pain denied is pain multiplied. God laid the foundation & gave you the blueprint of the book, but if you keep allowing someone else to steal the pen, you can’t be mad at the author when you continue to let the characters play in your face.
How you perceive love is how you receive it. Maybe it is time to unlearn how we learned love from the world & learn what God's love actually is and can look like in our lives.

The smartest person in the room knows that they know nothing at all. What if you're losing this season because you're too focused on analyzing someone else's lane instead of your own? You miss the mark when you focus more on their journey instead of embracing the reality of your own.
Regardless of who you were told you have to compete with, the only person getting in the way of you is YOU. Be better than you were last year, last month, last week, yesterday, even more than the last hour. Compete with yourself & hand your heart over to God.
Read Hebrews 12, including Chapter 12, verses 14-17.

Your heart is the soil in which everything flows and grows. Your heart affects what you think, & how you think has an effect on what you say, and then what you do. Examine your heart to see if you’re having a heart attack!
Looking at these ages you’ve lived through:
Age 1-5, Age 6-10, Age 11-12, Age 13-16, Age 17-19, Age 20-25, Age 26-29, Age 30-34, Age 35-40, Age 41-45, Age 46-50, Age 51-60, Age 61-70, Age 71-80, Age 81-90+
Ask yourself, what experiences did I encounter at a certain age that caused my heart to be..
What happened to your heart only defines you if you allow it. Your past can be a place of reference, not a place of residence. You are not stuck in the ways you’ve experienced a heart attack. Do the work so you can realize you are no longer stuck; you are in an open cage 🫂🌞🫶🏽
Ignoring God will cause you to ask, “why do I keep staying stuck in situations I’m supposed to come out of?”.
Don’t allow the ways people, society, and social media damages your heart make you miss out on how and why God is trying to restore it. You are not stuck, you’re in an open cage. Get out of the Driver’s seat and let God do a diagnostic of your heart.
