Piecing It Together Podcast

On the 113th episode of Piecing It Together, Joe Black and Adam Wells return to the podcast for a conversation about all things Kevin Smith, touching on lots of moments from throughout his View Askewniverse right up until the brand new Jay & Silent Bob Reboot. We recorded this back when the film was toured around the country and it's now finally out on VOD. Puzzle pieces include O Brother Where Art Thou?, Pee-Wee's Big Adventure, Dumb & Dumber 2 and of course... Jay & Silent Bob Strike Back.

As always, SPOILER ALERT for Jay & Silent Bob Reboot and the movies we discuss!

On the 112th episode of Piecing It Together, Brian Garth from the band Black Camaro returns to the show... This time in a private meeting room in the West Sahara Library to talk about Terminator: Dark Fate, recording directly into his monstrous digital creation known as The Monarch. It's kind of a weird episode, but bringing Arnold Schwarzenegger back to play an old man version of the Terminator makes this a weird movie to talk about. Puzzle pieces include Halloween, Mission: Impossible Fallout, Ghostbusters: Answer The Call and all the previous Terminator movies.

As always, SPOILER ALERT for Terminator: Dark Fate and the movies we discuss!

On the 111th episode of Piecing It Together, Catherine Gonzales joins me to talk about the Roger Deakins cinematography extravaganza that is 1917. The war film is shot in a way that makes it seem like one long take and is probably going to win Best Picture. Puzzle pieces include Birdman, Saving Private Ryan, Dunkirk and We Were Soldiers.

On the 110th episode of Piecing It Together, Joe Black, quite possibly the only man with Tom Hooper's film adaptation of Cats in his Top 10 Films of 2019 list, joins me to talk about this can't-look-away train-wreck of a film. I call it a train-wreck, but really, I kind of also loved it for what it is... Pure madness. Puzzle pieces include The Adventures of Baron Munchausen, Avatar, Meet The Feebles and Rent.

As always, SPOILER ALERT for Cats and the movies we discuss!
