Piecing It Together Podcast

On the 104th episode of Piecing It Together, new co-host Jay Ledbetter from InSession Film Podcast joins me to talk about one of the most awaited movies of the year, Rian Johnson's Knives Out. With an insanely star studded cast, Knives Out gives Johnson the chance to not only make a classic whodunnit murder mystery, but send up the genre at the same time. Puzzle pieces include Clue, The Hateful 8, Get Out and Hot Fuzz.

As always, SPOILER ALERT for Knives Out and the movies we discuss!

On the 102nd episode of Piecing It Together, new co-host filmmaker Sean Fallon joins us to talk about James Mangold's crowd pleaser Ford V Ferrari (or Le Mans '66 as it's known overseas). Starring Matt Damon and Christian Bale as the team that got Ford (and America) the historic win on the race track, it's a great underdog story, even if I knew nothing about racing going into it. Puzzle pieces include Armageddon, The Right Stuff, The Martian and The Fighter.

On the 101st episode of Piecing It Together, Joe Black joins me to discuss Edward Norton's passion project, Motherless Brooklyn. A throwback film noir starring Norton as a tourette's syndrome afflicted private detective, it's a bit of a mixed bag... But a bag that's more good than it's bad. Mostly. Puzzle pieces include The Untouchables, Road To Perdition, Sin City and Live By Night.

On this special episode of Piecing It Together, my fiancee Gina Mizzoni joins me to celebrate 100 episodes of the podcast and talk about this decade of my life. We talk about our life together, this podcast, producing podcasts, composing music, my albums, our pets, our adventures and more.

Apologies to Terminator Dark Fate, Jojo Rabbit and Motherless Brooklyn (as well as the guests I recorded episodes with on them), as they were all vying for the spot of Episode 100, but I thought this would be more appropriate. Those episodes will all be up eventually!
