Pillow Fort - Episode 49 - State Identifications & Being a Loud Person - Season Finale
In the Season 4 finale of Pillow Fort with Roo and Aimee, Roo and Aimee look back on a wild year of podcasting, pets, burps, cruises, and chaos. They kick things off by talking about how to stay motivated and organized when your life keeps filling up with more people, responsibilities, and animals.
Since Aimee's burp video became their most-watched clip, she delivers one final season-ending burp fly for the fans. The duo also discusses plans for next season, including who will be handling what behind the scenes, because podcast editing may be fun, but it's definitely still work.
They reminisce about some of Season 4's biggest moments, including the dinner cruise, Aimee's legendary burp, Roo's big fall, and the ongoing saga of Roo's animals making life more difficult than it needs to be. Roo shares the story of her dog eating important papers, while Aimee vents about the increasingly frustrating experience of dealing with the DMV and people blasting their phones at full volume in public.
The conversation gets even sillier as they examine Roo's new ID photo, which somehow makes her look like an angry kindergartner on picture day. They wrap up the season by talking about Roo being told to quiet down in a coffee shop, leading to a discussion about volume control—or Roo's complete lack of it. Aimee lovingly points out that Roo was also extremely loud during their shared-seating dinner cruise experience, though Aimee appreciates it because she usually can't hear anything anyway.
It's a heartfelt, hilarious, and wonderfully chaotic sendoff to Season 4 of Pillow Fort with Roo and Aimee.

In this episode of Pillow Fort with Roo and Aimee, the girls kick things off with a special guest appearance from Roo's cat, Scampi, who wastes no time stealing the spotlight. Then they dive into a voicemail from the Fort's number one Pillow Princess, Bobby Wesley, which sparks an important discussion: what do you do when you fall in public?
Everyone has their own strategy. Do you spring back up and pretend nothing happened? Stay face-down for a moment while you reevaluate your life choices? Immediately scan the crowd to see who witnessed your humiliation? Roo and Aimee break down the many ways people handle an unexpected wipeout and invite listeners to call the Fort and share their own falling philosophies.
Aimee recounts her most memorable public fall outside Orlando's Bar-B-Q Bar while dressed head-to-toe in office club attire, blazer included. Roo follows with a story from an improv practice where she fully committed to playing a soccer ball in a scene, resulting in a dramatic fall directly onto her head—just days after suffering a concussion. While Roo was mortified, Aimee was mostly impressed by her dedication to the craft.
Later, Roo shares her experience at Orlando Fringe, including attending an adults-only themed show that somehow had a single child sitting in the audience. This leads the duo into a conversation about kids, language, adult themes, and the ever-changing question of when children should be exposed to certain words and ideas.
As always, it's a cozy mix of embarrassing stories, questionable decisions, and conversations you can only have inside the Pillow Fort.

Some of you have noticed a little bit of anachronism in our episodes. WE'RE TIME TRAVELLERS OKAY.
In today's episode Roo tells us about the mysterious cow that was left at her door step. She hopes to provide her a better life. COME BACK AMOOLIA.
Aimee is in the middle of producing her Fringe Show - Psych! She talks about the struggles of show production and how there's no signal in her venue. Roo gets scolded for being too leisurely.

Behold! Our grossest episode yet! Roo and Aimee invoked the energy of 12 year old boys by talking about their bodily functions and societal rules around burping and flatulence. Roo attempts to have an adult attitude by complaining about pet hair but she can't stop thinking about her fart trauma. And really, pet hair is gross too. In this episode of Pillow Fort with Roo and Aimee, the duo gets real about reality tv. Aimee can not believe the douch-bagery of the dudes in this season of Love is Blind. While the women are doctors, homeowners, and drop dead gorgeous, the dudes are liars and weirdos with dirty beards. It’s a damn mess. Roo discussed the importance of learning how to have a day-to-night wardrobe. There is an art to staying comfy and cute for 15 hours.
This episode is equal parts rant, real talk, and cozy relatable life tips, just the way you like it.

Roo and Aimee start with some insider baseball on what their editing process is. Spoiler alert: it's chaotic. Roo complains about rich people sports always trying to kill you but it's really just her talking about how she cannot ski at all. Aimee tells us that she's deaf in one ear. Roo thinks that Aimee was alive during Scarlet Fever outbreaks and that's why she lost her hearing. She actually lost her hearing because she's a cool lady.

In this episode Roo and Aimee dive into the surprisingly intense emotions that some men have about parking. Parallel parking, backing into spaces, judging other people’s parking jobs — somehow it’s all tied to masculinity. Roo and Aimee attempt to unpack why a slightly crooked parking job can trigger a full internal crisis for certain guys. Is it pride? Is it territorial instinct? Is it just dads everywhere whispering “you can do better than that”?
Roo also shares a recent moment of confusion when she thought she heard the iconic Twitter notification sound… only to realize it was actually a bird outside her house. The real twist? The podcast now has 20 followers, so honestly it could have gone either way. Roo is choosing to believe the bird might have been a fan.
Meanwhile, Roo continues her ongoing battle with a broken closet door that refuses to stay upright. Despite knowing it’s unstable, she keeps accidentally knocking it over with her butt while walking by. At this point the door is less a piece of furniture and more a recurring character in her daily life.

This week in the fort Roo recounts her recent visit to a Moroccan spa where she was scrubbed from head to toe by a lady without being able to communicate much because of a language barrier. Roo is still unsure what the proper etiquette is when someone you just met is aggressively exfoliating you and gently cradling you at the same time.
Meanwhile, Aimee shares her long-standing issue with tropical fruit. Mango, papaya, guava — her mouth simply does not understand what is happening. She insists it’s not a personality flaw, but a legitimate sensory problem where her brain cannot decide if the fruit is delicious, suspicious, or actively trying to confuse her. Roo argues that this is a psychological and cultural issue, while Aimee maintains that tropical fruit simply has “too many vibes.”

Aimee’s mic died on location in Bimini, so there is a part 2 episode with all the cruise ship shenanigans!! The duo recap dressing as crustaceans and bananas, communicating on vacation, and how Roo turns into a vacation-maxing dad when she's on a trip.

Roo and Aimee are talking to you ON LOCATION in Bimini. This is Aimee's first cruise and she recounts the most intense day of the sailing. The day starts with Roo going full dad mode on vacation, then involves jumping down waterfalls, and finally Scarlet Night where hard-shelled antics ensue. Then, our mics die. Bu that's what happens when you leave the pillow fort! There's no chargers, but that's okay because in the end we have friendship, and friendship continues into the next episode.
