In space no one can smell rotten eggs! One small step for man. One giant leap of terror! This year, the past, the present and the future will all meet at the crossroads of hell! Are the Pillow Fright Girls off their rockers, or is this a special bonus on sequels in space? If you guessed the latter, you are correct! But not just any sequels - Elissa is joined by writer, podcast host, and fellow horror trivia team member Patrick Hamilton to help her discuss a trifecta of franchise sequels she's been long prepared to discuss since the beginning of time* (*the start of the podcast) - Critters 4, Leprechaun in Space, and Hellraiser: Bloodline.
Are you ready to go off the rails on a crazy train (spaceship)? Grab your Krites, gold, and Lament Configuration and let's get to it!

It's a bird, it's a place, it's...UBER JASON!
He's survived drowning. He's survived being macheted by Corey Feldman. He's even survived the toxic waste that floods the sewers of New York every night at midnight! But can he survive space? Find out when Elissa, Kay, and Ama are joined by horror journalist and repertory film host Brian Collins to discuss 2001's JASON X!
We don't have a spoiler-free section in this episode so if you haven't seen this 10th entry in the FRIDAY THE 13TH franchise, go rent it, watch it, and come back to join us in space before hockey gets outlawed!

Xenomorphs, and Facehuggers, and Chestbursters, oh my!
Kay and Ama had the pleasure of seeing an early screening of Alien: Romulus and couldn't wait to dive into a new installment in one of the greatest sci-fi horror franchises to date! Elissa was grounded for reenacting the chestburster scene from the original 1979 film during dinner, but have no fear Pillow Frighters! In her place is screenwriter/actor/co-host of the monthly Los Angeles trivia event Dead Right Horror Trivia - Jared Rivet! As always, we get into general discussion first with plenty of notice before heading into spoiler town.
Alien: Romulus officially comes out in theaters today (August 16th), so head on over to your local theater, fill that xenomorph popcorn bucket up and come back and join us for some good ol' fashioned Alien fun!

DO YOU SEE?!
...that we're starting a new theme today, Pillow Frighters! And an out-of-this-world theme it is as we step into our spaceships MTV Cribs style and talk all about spaceship horror! You read that correctly, we aren't limiting ourselves to just outer space travel, but we certainly starting with it by talking about 1997's EVENT HORIZON.
Other talking points include our recap of Midsummer Scream in Long Beach, CA, Elissa's not-so-subtle hint drops for how much she loves Critters 4, and Ama explaining to Kay what The Shunting is.
So grab your eyeballs and found copy of the Blood Orgy and let's get to it!
