Pine Warbler in the Misty Morning

Listen Later

Recorded on February 4, 2025, as the morning mist covers the pasture, this is the sound of the rapid trill of a Pine Warbler staking its spring territory in the loblolly pines at the pasture’s edge. Accompanying its call are the melodies of American Goldfinches, Northern Cardinals, American Crows, Tufted Titmice, Carolina Chickadees, Chipping and House Sparrows, Mourning Doves, Dark-eyed Juncos, Canada Geese, House Finches, Red-bellied and Pileated Woodpeckers, White-breasted Nuthatches and Blue Jays.
