Pineapple Myrtle is a newly discovered essential oil gifted from a relative of Lemon Tea Tree and is found naturally only in a few hectares of lowland or floodplain country, in northern New South Wales. The tree is extremely rare and grows to a maximum height of 10 metres in the wild. High and regular rainfall with rocky and alluvial soils are its prime habitat. When the leaves are steam distilled we are gifted an essential oil with an uplifting lemony (similar to Lemon Myrtle) aroma, followed by pineapple, banana, fruit salad, citrus, then a gentle floral aroma. This essential oil makes people feel instantly happy, uplifted, refreshed. It can assist concentration, lift the mood, remove bad room smells and negative energy. It also helps calms noisy children. This oil is now available thanks to Greg Trevena of Essentially Australia who has spent eight years testing, researching, propagating, harvesting and distilling this unique essential oil.
