So, we're going to spread it out so that we can get a firm understanding of what Jesus is trying to get us to understand. We hope you listen and enjoy as you grow in your walk with God.
“Called to Start, Committed to Finish” by Pastor Nate Nix. We've all been called to do things for God, but are we committed to see it through to the end? Paul tells us I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race. Pastors encouraging us today that we can say the same thing at the end of our life, not only do we start to do something good for God, but we were committed to see it through to the end. “Grace” by Pastor Nate Nix. Grace is a concept in the Bible that's very hard for us to understand without in-depth studying in the Word of God. The Bible makes it very clear that grace comes from God. Noah found grace in the eyes of the Lord. Let's spend some time in the Word of God and let the Holy Ghost minister to us as we listen and study along.
“Wonder” by Pastor Nate Nix. We're getting close to the Christmas season, and this is when we start to go through the Christmas story. In Isaiah, he tells us that there is coming a son, and his name will be wonderful counselor, Prince of Peace. Today, pastor, stirring our hearts a little bit, are we still full of wonder of for Jesus Christ? Another term for wonder is miracle. Do we still know that Jesus Christ is and can do miracles? Let the Holy Spirit minister to your heart today as you listen and enjoy.
“The Art of Gratitude” by Pastor Stephan Hogan. In this episode, we're going to take a look at the life of King David. In this moment in time, King David had been overthrown by his son and was running away from the Kingdom, so he didn't have to fight against his own son. This is where we come to a point in the story where somebody is cursing and throwing rocks at the king. All of the King's men want to avenge it, but David holds his posture and continues his path full of gratitude for the things that God has done for him. Let the Holy Spirit minister to your heart today and allow you to alter your position to a position of gratitude.
“Community WE part 8” by Br. and Sis. Meadows. In this episode we are going to be continuing our study into how we fit into Community. Community is very important in the body of Christ. Jesus came so that we could have perfect unity in the Church. So, what is our role in this community? We're going to study the word of God together to find out what the church community should look like.
“Don't Live Distracted” by Pastor Nate Nix. In today's day and age, there are distractions everywhere. We have cell phones, tablets, computers, TV's, Netflix, Hulu, all of these things to distract us from focusing on the will of God. The Bible calls us to be heavenly minded and not to focus on the things of this earth, but that can be hard when there's so much going on around us. But just like driving your vehicle, if you're paying attention to your phone and not the road, you can kill yourself and others around you. Our lives are more important than driving a vehicle, so we should never live distracted.
“Together” by brother Carl Davis. In Acts chapter 2 they were all together in one place and in one accord and suddenly there was a mighty wind, and fire sat on each of them, and they were all filled with the Holy Spirit. There's something powerful about when we Christians come together. The Bible calls for unity and us at Pineview Church are a community with an emphasis on the word unity. Please listen and enjoy and allow the Holy Spirit to minister to your heart today.
"Hungry for His Righteousness" by Pastor Dan Tackett. The Bible tells us that if we hunger and thirst after righteousness, we shall be filled. But it we should not be seeking after our own righteousness, but we know it's his righteousness that we should be seeking. The question that I asked today is, are we really hungry for His righteousness? We should start praying and fasting so that we can become hungry for His righteousness, and we will be filled.
