The week before Christ's death was a roller coaster of events, emotions, and impact on the course of human history. As we celebrate Palm Sunday, our challenge is to prepare for Jesus' return in 3 very important ways.

When we place our faith in Christ, we can be assured that it is placed in a firm foundation.

In His perfect wisdom, God decided to use us imperfect humans to spread the message of His love, and salvation by faith through Christ.

In the book of Romans, Paul lays out the process by which this happens – and it involves us! Where are you when it comes to sharing God’s love?

How can we know we’re saved? How can we be sure that we’ve been forgiven for our sins, and will go to heaven when we die?

Many times we make the idea of salvation more complicated than it really is. Today we’re looking at the essentials of what salvation is really about.

While following Jesus can present many challenges, the advantages of faith in Him far outweigh the struggles. In the book of Romans, Paul describes some of the most precious advantages we are beneficiaries of when we place our faith in Christ.

In spite of Abraham’s humanity, he had a faith in God that has been admired for generations. His faith led him to go to places unseen, act without reason, and serve with just one purpose: obedience to the one true God.  

How can we learn to have that kind of faith – the kind that others look to as an example of strong faith in the Almighty God? Let’s learn together from the letter to the Romans, in God’s Word, the Bible.

It’s easy to get trapped in a cycle of self-reliance, especially when things are going well.

But when it comes to our spiritual well-being, self-reliance isn’t the best choice. Faith is better.

Righteousness is "the quality of being morally right or justifiable".  And while we may feel like we're pretty good overall, when compared to God's standard of righteousness, we fall short.  Today we're talking about how, in spite of our failings, God's grace covers us.

Sure, it's easy to place your faith in God's sovereignty when things are unpredictable, uncertain, and always changing.  But what hapens when life calms down and becomes more manageable?  Do we continue to place our faith in God?  Or do we default to placing our faith in our friends, our abilities, and our possessions?

Today we're looking at why faith in Christ is absolutely essential, whether life is turbulent and uncertain, or smooth sailing and easy.
