Welcome to the Pining For Pixels podcast! This is my video game variety show podcast, part of the Red Rooster's Gaming Coop network where I talk gaming and gaming culture every week. 2025 was a good year for quality games. Although we had a high concentration of remakes and remasters, we also had a high output of new original games. This year I have another 10 nominees to discuss, but as usual, there can be only 1! In this episode I go over my many honourable mentions that didn't quite crack the top 10, but are worth mentioning nonetheless. After that I present in order from the bottom to the top in ranked order, the top 10 games of 2025, and #1 takes the title of overall Game of The Year for 2025.
