In this conversation, my friend Gus from Triad of the Force and I discuss our thoughts on various Star Wars shows, including The Mandalorian, Obi-Wan Kenobi, and Andor. We explore the idea of storytelling in shorter episodes and seasons, and how it affects the overall narrative. We also touch on the importance of catering to different types of fans and the challenges of balancing fan expectations with creative choices. The conversation covers various topics related to Star Wars and fandom. We discuss the structure and pacing of shows, the importance of flashbacks, and the need for emotional twists rather than plot twists. Fortunately or unfortunately we also touch on the toxic nature of fandom and the entitlement some fans feel towards the franchise. Finally we express our appreciation for the uniqueness and unapologetic nature of 'The Acolyte' and the importance of taking risks in storytelling. The conversation highlights the need for open and respectful discussions within fandom and the dangers of relying on social media for information.

Tom and I sit down to discuss the climax of this series with episodes 6 “Far, Far Away” and “Dreams and Madness” where we discuss a whole host of things ranging from Dave Filoni’s obviously found influence in Blade Runner 2049 to more hot daddy talk. We get into the interconnection of Star Wars storytelling and if it’s cameos are good for the average fan. Tom realizes that Shin and Sabine have a definite thing for one another and is there too much Pedro Pascal?

We sat down to watch the TWO best episodes of Ahsoka: “Fallen Jedi” and “Shadow Warrior”! Ahsoka and crew find themselves on the edge of a cliff and at the edge of the galaxy - literally. This show absolutely takes off in these episodes! In this episode we talk about how EXTRA these characters are. Babylon Skull is a total Daddy Bear and we love him for it. We discuss the episodes as well as “streaming” as a new medium of storytelling and if we’ve got it totally figured out. Bryan is called out about a bad attitude and embracing Star Wars without George Lucas. We decide that we’re the GAYEST Star Wars podcast there is! Thank you as always for listening and DRINK UP!
