We kick off the show talking about a very cool event happening this Thursday on Veterans Day, “Pints With A Purpose” and then jump into some new releases from KC musicians.

This Thursday is Veterans Day and Drexel Hall/The Irish Center of Kansas City is hosting a benefit concert for James Carter aka Sarge, a Marine Veteran, founder of You Found Music, and huge supporter of KC music. Everyone is invited to hear some great music in the beautiful setting of the Irish Center (my wedding reception was there!). Five acts will play from 6-9PM: Timbers, Nicki White, The David Luther, Sam Wells, and Alisa Jefferson - we hear from those last two on this week’s show!

After that, we jump into new releases from The Grisly Hand, A.M. Merker, STEDDY P., Melissa Mayhew, Jaclyn Bell, PURE XTC, and Redder Moon.
