The Center is owned by Jennifer Nyakundi.  Pioneer Recovery started in Palo, MN  in 2009, as a 10-bed, medium-intensity program for women.  The Center moved to Cloquet when Jennifer bought the old Regional Realty Building from Marty Ketola in 2013, and turned it into a 20-bed facility with a commercial kitchen to serve customers from south St. Louis County, Carlton County, Isanti County, Itasca County, Koochiching County, Lake County, Cook County, and Fond du Lac, Leech Lake, Boise Forte, and Mille Lacs Bank Reservations.

At Pioneer Recovery, women will experience and learn to overcome the challenges of recovery within an atmosphere of compassion, dignity, and respect.  The in-home-like setting focuses on relationships to help women learn to overcome the challenges of recovery.

There is help out there.   Do not be ashamed to get help.  If you are struggling, get the help you need.     - Jennifer Nyakundi, Owner - Pioneer Recovery
