Omiš (Croatia) is a very particular town. It's been built in between the mouth of the river Cetina and the foot of a mountain rising above the Adriatic Sea. From the seaside it's also protected by islands. For centuries, this small town was a nest of pirates - sworn enemies of the Venetians!
