Pirates Talk

PJ Carlesimo, the winningest coach in Seton Hall men's basketball history, is this week's guest. We discuss the Hall's rise from the bottom of the college basketball world to the top of the Big East Conference and the controversial call that possibly cost the Pirates a national championship. Plus PJ gives his views on this year's squad and updates us on what's keeping him very busy these days.

Legendary broadcaster and Seton Hall alumnus Bob Ley is my guest this week on "Pirates Talk". We touch upon his days behind the microphone at WSOU-FM, his Hall-of-Fame career at ESPN, this year's men's basketball team, the changing world of communications and so much more.

Thanks to Bryan Felt for coming on this week's show. The men's basketball team has been great but there are so many other good things happening at The Hall, too. Bryan discusses it all from Kevin Willard's team to the renovations at Walsh to his "on screen" updates!

Tim McLoone hasn't scored a basket, blocked a shot or diagrammed an in-bounds play at Seton Hall but he is an important part of the Seton Hall basketball experience as the public address announcer for Pirates games.

Happy New Year! As we kick off the start of 2020, my special guest is JP Pelzman of Rivals.com. JP has covered college basketball and Seton Hall hoops for many years. We look back at Seton Hall's conference opening win against DePaul, look ahead to Friday's game against Georgetown and take a quick look around the Big East.

Pick whatever word you want to describe Seton Hall's week. It was bad as they not only lost twice but they also lost their top two players to injury. My special guest on this edition of the show is Dave Popkin, now in his 17th season as commentator on Pirates basketball games on the Seton Hall radio network, as we discuss the week that was and what lies ahead.
