What's wrong with Liverpool FC and their current form? Do they need to change something/anything?

Our co-host SSLJA discusses his beloved Reds and asks those 2 questions and discusses what can and potentially can't be done to change the Redmen's fortunes on the pitch as their title defence seems to have stalled with draws and a surprise first defeat in almost 4 years v Burnley.

SSLJA looks at a Premier League rule which may put the kibosh on any acquisitions in the January transfer window and what could be changed if no players come into the club, especially in regards to the centre back positions.

Are socially distanced celebrations in football (Due to Covid-19) absurd or sensible?

In this episode Straight Shootin' LJA discusses whether or not social distancing during celebrations is absurd or actually sensible. SSLJA looks at James Maddison of Leicester & his socially distanced celebration v Southampton and questions whether or not it was a parody, and also whether or not a player should be praised, for doing something that is supposed to be a prerequisite during the Covid-19 pandemic.

SSLJA looks at whether or not other types of players would've got the same praise for what Maddison did, and also makes an interesting comparison of the celebration.

Do the Premier League have a Plan B in regards to rescheduling games postponed because of Covid-19?

In this episode Straight Shootin' LJA discusses whether or not the Premier League have a Plan B in regards to playing matches during the Coronavirus/Covid-19 pandemic, especially as rescheduled matches will have to be played later in the season, potentially causing a fixture pile up with the rescheduled Euro 202 tournament on the horizon in summer 2021.

SSLJA looks at whether or not the Premier league and the FA are letting the broadcasters such as Sky Sports, BT Sport & Amazon control their actions and putting money first, instead of fairness, a level playing field and most importantly, player safety first.

Do Clubs and Pundits need to be more responsible with what they say on Social media & broadcasts?

In this episode Straight Shootin' LJA discusses the recent war of words between Karen Carney & Leeds United and the fall out from it.

SSLJA looks at Karen Carney making the assertion on an Amazon Prime broadcast that Leeds United only won the EFL Championship in 2019-2020 season because of the Lockdown due to Covid-19 that enforced a break on football. SSLJA discusses the fallout of Carney's comments including her having to close her twitter account due to abuse online and how Leeds could've handled the situation better as their comments seemed to encourage the vitriol from fans.

Should club owners, chairmen and people in powerful positions in clubs keep quiet after bad results?

In this episode Straight Shootin' LJA discusses the issue of football club chairmen and people of power coming out with potentially inflammatory remarks or pandering to fans after bad results.

SSLJA discusses examples such as Tony Khan's comments after a bad Fulham result where he apologised to fans but also verbally buried the players he has. Also LJA looks at Steve Parish responding to and dismissing media rumours that Crystal Palace had agreed to sign Rhian Brewster from Liverpool, when no contact had been made at all and other examples.
