The first ever Varsity Basketball took place over the first 2 weekends in October. The tournament featured universities from all over the country and provided non stop action. Ahmed Kajee and Michael Pedro take a look at the tournament as a whole and broke down the final between Wits and UCT.

TUT made it a clean sweep in the finals of Varsity Football as both the womens and mens teams claimed come from behind victories.

The women were 2-1 winners over UWC to claim a 5th title, while there male counterparts put the disappointed of last years final behind them, beating Wits 2-1.

The women’s rounds of the 2018 Varsity Football season kick off in Potchefstroom, at the North West University today. This is the first season the games will be televised as TUT will hope to defend their crown in another exciting weekend of football.
