WQED-FM's Jim Cunningham spoke with PSO Principal Tuba Craig Knox, who hopes to catch up with the premiere tuba maker on this tour.  Micah Wilkison remembers seeing the PSO perform in Berlin and hoping one day he'd be on that stage performing with the PSO....a dream coming true on this tour.  Jim also talks with Timo Buckow, Programmer for the Rheingau Music Festival, who talks about his admiration of the Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra.  Finally, he chats with Dr. Thomas Martin Salb, Program Director of ARTE TV, who gives Jim his impressions on the first half of the Frankfurt concert.

WQED-FM's Jim Cunningham caught up with trumpet Neal Berntsen outside the Alte Oper Frankfurt, a few hours before the Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra took the stage to kick off their European tour.  Neal talks about the hall, the repertoire on the tour, and his traditional dinner he had last night.   Jim also has a chat with violinist Josefina Vergara of the Los Angeles Chamber Orchestra, who is performing with the PSO on this tour.
